Our channels include Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube, alongside the website.
Social content introduces people to businesses, features and experiences. The website provides fuller information and a lasting reference.
Only the channels and deliverables included in your booking are guaranteed. A social post does not automatically include filming, a Reel or other video production. YouTube projects are booked separately.
Promotion is organic unless paid advertising is specifically included. Our fees do not include a separate social advertising budget.
We use supplied business handles where appropriate and supported, except in open house listings and their shared promotion, where the property-focused requirements apply. Collaboration invitations, acceptance, resharing and third-party participation are not guaranteed.
Feed posts are intended to remain available after publication, but continuous availability is not guaranteed. Stories remain visible for 24 hours unless otherwise agreed.
Current audience information is available when booking. For sponsored features and event promotion with social content, we provide a brief report of available website and social results. Reporting is aggregate; individual follower or subscriber information is not supplied.
Audience reach, views, clicks, attendance, enquiries and sales are not guaranteed.

Features, profiles, calendar descriptions and social content are written or edited in our voice and style. Supplied descriptions provide background and may not appear as submitted.
Advertisers review factual accuracy. Our editor retains final approval over wording, headlines, imagery, formats, presentation and publication.
Sponsored content is clearly identified on the website and in the relevant social posts. Paid placement does not constitute an independent editorial recommendation.
Advertising is not required for directory consideration or independent editorial coverage. Purchasing advertising does not guarantee additional coverage.

Advertisers must provide accurate facts, prices, offers and claims and obtain permission to use supplied photographs, logos, video and copy.
Submitting materials confirms that you have authority to permit their use. You authorize Life in Peterborough & The Kawarthas to reproduce, crop, resize, format and publish them for the booked placement and included promotion.

Website banners: Payments are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed. Three month bookings remain payable for the full committed term.
Sponsored features: The 50% deposit is non-refundable once confirmed. The full feature fee becomes payable and non-refundable once the interview or writing begins, whichever occurs first.
Event promotion: Payments are non-refundable once confirmed. A postponed or cancelled event does not automatically transfer the campaign to another date.
Open houses: Payments are non-refundable once a listing has been prepared or published, including if the property sells or the open house is cancelled. Unused credits are non-refundable and expire after 90 days.
Open house date changes requested before preparation may be accommodated without another fee or credit, subject to approval and deadlines. After preparation or publication, a different date or weekend requires a new booking or credit. Cancellation does not restore a used credit.
If we decline an open house submission before preparation, its payment is refunded or credit restored. Other submissions declined before booking confirmation receive a refund of any payment received.
All rescheduling requires availability and written approval.
We may correct, update or remove material that becomes inaccurate, is subject to a credible rights dispute or breaches our guidelines. Where practical, we will contact the advertiser. Removal caused by inaccurate information, unauthorized materials or a guideline breach does not entitle the advertiser to a refund.
If a technical interruption prevents delivery, we will offer an extension, rescheduling or replacement by agreement. If no alternative is agreed, we will refund the undelivered portion.
If Life in Peterborough & The Kawarthas cannot provide a booked placement, we will refund the undelivered portion unless you agree to an alternative arrangement.
